Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Lynkra Digital collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Lynkra Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in this policy at Maranathagig@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a growth audit, email us or otherwise get in touch, we collect the information you choose to share, which may include:
- Your name and email address
- Your business name, website or social media profile
- The service you are interested in and details about your goals
- Any other information you include in your messages
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and font provider (Google Fonts) may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, so the site can be delivered to your device. The Growth Score quiz runs entirely in your browser; your answers are not sent to us or stored.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and carry out your free growth audit
- To prepare proposals and provide services you request
- To manage our relationship with you if you become a client, including invoicing
- To keep our website secure and working properly
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
We will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them or you are an existing client and the emails relate to similar services. You can opt out at any time.
Our legal basis
We process your information on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
- Contract: where processing is needed to provide services you have requested or to take steps before entering into a contract with you.
- Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, run and improve our business, and keep our website secure, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep records, for example for tax purposes.
- Consent: where you have agreed to receive marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing your information
We never sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as email, file storage, accounting and website hosting providers, and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also share information where required by law.
International transfers
We are a remote-first team, and some of our team members and service providers are located outside the UK. Where your personal information is transferred outside the UK, we take steps to make sure it is protected, such as using providers in countries the UK considers to have adequate data protection, or using approved safeguards like the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your information
If you contact us but do not become a client, we keep your enquiry for up to 24 months and then delete it. If you become a client, we keep records for the length of our relationship and for up to six years afterwards to meet legal and accounting requirements.
How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure, password-protected accounts with two-factor authentication and access limited to people who need it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information
- Ask us to transfer your information to another organisation
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email Maranathagig@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
